Chantix Increases Seizure Risk and Lowers Alcohol Tolerance in Patients

The Food Drug and Administration warned that Pfizer’s Chantix give birth to psychiatric behavior in patients. The quit-smoking drug comes with numerous serious side effects such as aggression, hostility, agitation, bizarre behavior and suicidal thoughts. Currently, the drug carries strongest warning label of FDA: Black Box. Pfizer has requested FDA to remove the “Black box” warning but in vain. The government health authority has decided to retain black box on the drug till the results of an ongoing safety research.

Quitting smoking is good. Chantix is an FDA-approved medical smoking cessation product. Ipso facto Chantix is good. Unless, apparently, you try to drink alcohol while taking it.
