CBS exec behind popular 1960s and 1970s shows dies at age 94

Michael Dann, the man behind the programming of several 1960s and 1970s CBS shows such as "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," "60 Minutes" and "The Beverly Hillbillies," has died at his Florida home. He was 94.

His wife Audrey Dann confirmed his death Tuesday. Dann began his career at NBC where he was part of the creation of the "Today" and "Tonight" shows.
