Michael Wagner donated his liver to his daughter Phuoc Tuesday as their family seeks a donor for her twin sister, Binh. The twins suffer from Alagille syndrome, a genetic condition that damages their liver, heart and other organs. Wagner could donate to only one daughter because of donor restrictions. Doctors chose Phuoc as a recipient because they determined she needed the new liver the most.
