OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canada plans to expand its mission against Islamic State militants by sending fighter bombers to attack targets in Syria as well as Iraq, two well placed political sources said on Monday.
The expansion means Canada is set to become only the second nation after the United States to bomb the militants in Syria.
