We hear this so many times: living a moderate lifestyle focused on healthy choices, could help men avoid heart attacks. Unfortunately only 1 percent of men living that way, according to new research published Monday.

The study examined nearly 21,000 men in Sweden between the ages of 45 and 79 in 1997. The research team looked at their existing medical records and other surveys.
