They are loud, cumbersome, aggressively uncomfortable, and they can cost as much as $300. Why is the modern breast-pump as clunky as an Oldsmobile Cultass Cruiser but as pricey as a slick smartphone? Someone has got to come up with a better way. That is what a group at MIT’s Media Lab aims to do during a breast-pump hackathon.
