Britain votes with government up for grabs

LONDON — Millions of people are voting in Britain's general election on Thursday, but with no party expected to clearly emerge as an outright winner it may be days before the precise make-up of the new government is known.

As voting stations opened in schools, community centers and even pubs, polls showed that incumbent Prime Minister David Cameron's Conservative Party is in a statistical dead heat with would-be leader Ed Miliband of the Labour Party.
