Breakfast Of Champions, Or Is It?

As a young child, our parents made sure we ate a healthy breakfast, or at the very least had something to eat in the morning. In order to promote our growth and maturity, maintain the proper level of nutrition, we ate a buttered bagel, stack of pancakes, or a bowl of cereal. As time passed, certain foods were alleged to contain unhealthy ingredients, so we had to watch what type of cereal we ate, whether we ate too many eggs, or if we slathered too much butter on our pancakes or toast. In our teenage years, our parents continued to stress breakfast was the most important meal of the day, making sure we ate something before we caught the bus to school. These habits continued into our adult years. As hard as it is, we attempt to make time to eat a little something in the morning either at home, on the way to work, or at the job. If all we can do is grab a cup of coffee, we feel bad all day long. Or, so we thought.
