'Boyhood' snags four Detroit Film Critics Society awards, including best picture of 2014

"Boyhood" is authentic, ambitious and affecting. That's why it touched so many members of the Detroit Film Critics Society, myself included - Richard Linklater's drama, 12 years in the making, took four awards from the group, including best picture and director for 2014.

Rosanna Arquette won best supporting actress for her performance in the film, and Linklater also won for his screenplay.
