Researchers from Cornell University said that they have found “the first concrete blueprint of life not as we know it.” The researchers said that they found strong evidence of life in Saturn but this life form is methane-based and oxygen-free. This life condition is driven by Saturn’s icy condition because of its freezing moon, Titan.

The theory was inspired by a sci-fi writer, Isaac Asimov, entitled Not as We Know. Chemical engineering graduate, James Stevenson the novel was about the concept of non-water based life in 1962.
