Boeing to build most powerful rocket for NASA's deep-space missions

Boeing Co. has finalized a 2.8 million deal with NASA to build Space Launch System, which will be the world's most powerful rocket for deep-space exploration, carrying astronauts to the moon, Mars and near-Earth asteroids.

The American space agency last ordered an appraisal of this scale with the formidable Saturn V, which was utilized to carry astronauts to the moon.
