Body of Dutch climber retrieved from Everest

Eric Arnold, from Rotterdam, died Friday after showing altitude sickness symptoms, the Associated Press reported. His body was retrieved by helicopter and flown to a hospital in Nepal’s capital of Kathmandu on Thursday.

Arnold, 35, was one of three people who died in three days on the “death zone” of the world’s highest peak.
