Blood Pressure Drugs Can Reduce the Risk of ALS

A recent report indicates that blood pressure medicines can lessen the risk of amyotrophic Lateral sclerosis (ALS) in patients.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is a progressive neurodegenerative disease which can damage nerve cells in the spinal cord and brain. This continuous erosion of nerve cells can even lead to death. The lethal disease is commonly known as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease”.
