Researchers from Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI), California have reported a deep-sea angler fish in Pacific Ocean. During a research expedition, the research team found the black seadevil nearly 1,900 feet below the sea level in the Monterey Canyon.
The anglerfish has strong and spiking teeth, giving it a fierce look. The fish is very rare to spot. The research team at Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute has been keeping a close watch on the area for more than 25 years.
