It has been known since 1960 that saturated fat may lead to heart diseases. Foods rich in saturated fat like red meat, cheese, butter etc, were considered as health enemies. The book named “The Big Fat Surprise” written by Nina Teicholz revealed that saturated fat may not be that much unhealthy and fruits and vegetables may not be as healthy as we think.
