Berkeley grants free medical marijuana to low income patients

The law will require that dispensaries set aside two percent of their product to ensure low income patients get the medicine they need.

A unanimous vote cast by Berkeley City Council members on July 8 has passed a law that will require dispensaries in Berkeley, California to provide free medical marijuana to low income patients.
