Benedict Cumberbatch plays Alan Turing in "The Imitation Game," an English mathematician who broke the Nazi Enigma code during WWII only to be later arrested and chemically castrated for being gay, illegal in the U.K. at the time. Turing was officially pardoned by Queen Elizabeth II in 2013, a courtesy that should be extended to all the other men who were arrested for homosexuality in the '40's and '50's, argue Cumberbatch and LGBT activist Stephen Fry.
