Behavioral Counseling May Improve Health of Obese and Overweight People

For many years, eating healthy and exercising daily are considered as the beneficial weight loss tools but now the United States Preventive Services Task Force has added one more tool for weight loss and that is behavioral counseling.

USPSTF’s literature review says that behavioral counseling on exercise and diet must be given to the people who are at heart disease risk because of obesity. The candidates for the behavioral counseling are the overweight people and have high blood pressure, increase sugar and cholesterol levels.
