Bedbugs transmit Deadly Chagas Disease

According to a new study, bedbugs, small insects that live on the blood of animals or humans, could pass deadly Chagas disease, which is a common cause of death in Central and South America.

The study published in the American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene said that the little creatures obtain and send out Trypanosomacruzi, the parasite that causes Chagas disease. They pass it through their waste.
