Beat the winter blues - The Standard

Depression is a common ailment this time of year. For some, it may be only a temporary case of the “winter blues.” For others, it is a more continuous problem, called Seasonal Affective Disorder. While your most trusted source of advice should always be your doctor or mental health specialist, there are some things you can do on your own to improve your mood and alleviate — if not totally remove — the symptoms of seasonal depression.
