From Barista To Bachelor's: Starbucks-ASU Partnership Offers Full 4-Year Online College Degrees

Last year, Starbucks and Arizona State University unveiled a partnership for the coffee chain’s employees to earn full tuition for an undergraduate degree. It was open to all part- to full-time workers who enrolled in ASU’s Online Degree program with enough credits to qualify as juniors or seniors. Today this unique corporate-academic alliance was extended include all ASU Online undergrad Starbucks workers.

To date nearly 2,000 people working over 20 hours per week have jumped into the opportunity, and the company says it will invest some $250 million to help at least 25,000 graduate by 2025.
