Chicago Cubs rookie Kris Bryant is having quite a spring. Entering Sunday, the third baseman wasn’t just out-homering sluggers such as Giancarlo Stanton, the defending National League home-run champion. Bryant was out-homering Stanton’s entire Miami Marlins team.
Bryant had eight spring-training home runs entering Sunday. To put that in perspective, the most anyone has hit in an entire spring over the past 10 years was 11 by Ryan Howard in 2006.
