Astronomers point to Supernova Explosion as Birthplace of vast amounts of Cosmic Dust

Nobody ever had concrete evidence on it before, but finally the very first direct observations of cosmic dust that resulted from supernovae have just been recently made by astronomers using a sophisticated infrared telescope.

Cosmic dust or space dust used to be considered as a nuisance to astronomers since they get in the way of the view. However, with recent developments in technology, the astronomers found out that these space dusts are the building-blocks of heavenly bodies such as stars and planets.
