Astronaut Scott Kelly ready to test his health on a 1-year space mission

America and Russia are launching astronauts to the International Space Station this week for the first year-long stay there, but NASA is adding an extra wrinkle by sending the twin of another U.S. astronaut.

NASA astronaut Scott Kelly and Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko will launch Friday along with cosmonaut Gennady Padalka. Kelly is the twin brother of U.S. astronaut Mark Kelly, the husband of former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.
