Asiana Airlines Plane Clipped Communications Towers Before Veering Off Japan Runway

South Korean investigators and airline officials travel to Japan to investigate the accident at Hiroshima Airport that injured 18 passengers

The Airbus EADSY -1.18 % 320 passenger plane, with 73 passengers and eight crew, hit the towers standing about 325 meters (1,066 feet) before the start of the runway, spokesmen for the airport and the Japanese transport ministry’s aviation safety department said on Wednesday.
