Artists compete with works of heart

More than 200,000 Texas student artists, pre-K through 12th grade, entered original Western-inspired works in the Show's School Art Program last year alone, and the annual School Art Auction is one of the top grossing (and growing) rodeo events. The 2013 and 2014 grand champions' pieces both brought in $210,000 at auction and share the world record for purchase price.
