Tofacitinib citrate has re-grown all the hairs of the man with the condition alopecia universalis. In this condition, a person becomes completely bald and no hair is present on chest, face, armpits etc. However the rheumatoid arthritis drug, tofacitinib citrate, has helped that man to have hair back.

This study was conducted by the Yale University and was published in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology.
