Archerfish Use Water Jets With Incredible Precision to Capture Prey

Archerfish, a tiny fish in Thailand, can ‘shoot’ a prey up to 6 feet above the water surface using a jet of water. The fish gathers water between the roof of its mouth and the tongue then spits a strong and accurate stream of water knocking down spiders, insects and other small creatures.
