Archeologists found more than a million mummies in ancient Egyptian cemetery in the desert.

A team of archeologists from Brigham Young University discovered more than a million mummies in an ancient Egyptian cemetery called Fag el-Gamous. Though the archeologists are working on the site for more than 30 years, recent discovery of so many mummy’s in one place attracted the attention of the scientist.

Project director Kerry Muhlestein said, “We are fairly certain we have over a million burials within this cemetery. It’s large, and it’s dense”.
