Archaeologists Attempt to Unravel the Mysteries of the Middle East Stone Circles

Photographs from above have revealed the extent of massive stone circles erected in Jordan. Although the circles were viewed from the air in the 1920’s, not much interest was shown in them and, in fact, not many scientists were aware that they even existed. It is hoped that the new images will now generate some interest in the circles.

Eleven of the structures have been discovered and the aerial images of them have revealed that all of them except for one are about 1,312 feet in diameter.
