Antibiotics on your plate might now be more than ever

With the use of antibiotics for boosting livestock on the rise at alarming rates in developing countries, experts from Princeton University, ILRI and the National Institutes of Health warn that this will result in dramatic rise in the risk of drug-resistant “super bugs”. This the first study to measure global antibiotic consumption by livestock.
