ZURICH The anti-immigration Swiss People's Party (SVP) won the biggest share of the vote in Sunday's national parliamentary elections, initial projections showed, increasing its vote share to remain Switzerland's biggest party.
The SVP won 28 percent of the vote, according to first projections from Swiss broadcaster SRF, up from 26.6 in the 2011 vote and roughly in line the 27.9 percent predicted in a poll by research institute gfs.bern.
