LONDON — Anheuser-Busch InBev said on Wednesday that it had approached SABMiller about a potential takeover, in a deal that would create the world’s biggest beer maker.
Such a deal would bring some of the world’s most popular beers under one roof, including Budweiser, which is made by Anheuser-Busch InBev, and Miller Lite, from SABMiller.
