Amur Leopards in Russian Animal Reserve Make A Strong Comeback

Another species that was previously placed on the Endangered Species list has made a solid recovery. These are the Amur leopards who have been under care at an animal reserve in Russia. Their population has almost doubled in about seven years, according to the World Wildlife Federation.

A recent study—conducted by scientists with WWF Rusia and the Far Eastern Branch of he Russian Academy of Sciences and the Land of the Leopard National Park, surveyed 57 cats roaming the park.
