Amtrak travelers warned of measles exposure in New York

Some Amtrak travelers were exposed to measles this week, New York health officials said, asking passengers who were not vaccinated to contact their physicians if they have symptoms.

A fourth patient to contract measles in the state was announced Friday by the New York State Department of Health. The patient, a college student, traveled on Amtrak train 283 from Penn Station in Manhattan to Albany on Jan. 25, according to the department’s statement. The Associated Press reported ...
