The "American Horror Story" cast was struck with bad news on Thursday. Actor Ben Woolf, who played character Meep in season 5 named "Freakshow", was hospitalized following a car accident. The four feet four inch tall actor was allegedly struck by the side-view mirror of a passing SUV while crossing the street, reports Mail Online. The actor was allegedly jaywalking, hence a case against the driver has not been made. Moreover, the driver stayed on which means a hit and run case is also ruled out.

The actor hasn't opened his eyes since the accident and has been heavily sedated until his condition improves and vital signs stabilize. Woolf's family has been by his side since the accident.
