American Authors aren’t a one hit wonder

You’ve no doubt heard American Authors’ big hit, the relentlessly catchy Best Day of My Life with its “Woo-ooh-ooh-oh-oh” singalong chorus. But the Brooklyn alt-rock band — which takes the stage Thursday at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale — is far from a one-hit wonder. Its arresting debut album Oh, What a Life has cracked the Top 20, and songs including Believer, Luck, Trouble and Home are also fan favorites.

Led by singer Zac Barnett’s crisp, penetrating vocals, American Authors — whose members were all classically trained at Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music — prides itself on writing Americana pop anthems that tell compelling stories and resonate emotionally.
