Amazon orders five new series, renews 'Mozart'

Amazon is bulking up its programming slate, giving the greenlight to five new original series, including the Philip K. Dick adaptation The Man in the High Castle. The online megastore also announced that it has renewed the dramatic comedy Mozart in the Jungle for a second season to debut in early 2016.

After letting viewers watch and review a slate of 13 pilots, five shows are making the jump to full series. The series include the Ridley Scott-produced adaptation of Dick's alternate history novel The Man in the High Castle, the hour-long dark comedy Mad Dogs, the documentary series The New Yorker ...
