Allegheny General service, technical workers vote for union

Roughly 1,200 medical technicians and service workers at Pittsburgh's Allegheny General Hospital have voted to join the Service Employees International Union.

Officials with SEIU Healthcare Pennsylvania say 83 percent of the service workers chose to unionize while 72 percent of the technicians did.
