Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi announced Wednesday that he has pardoned 100 prisoners, including Al Jazeera journalist Mohammed Fahmy, an Egyptian and Canadian citizen.
Fahmy had been sentenced to three years in prison earlier this year on terrorism-related charges.
