Airline performance declines in 2014

Airline performance dipped last year, with fewer flights touching down on time, more bags mishandled, and – perhaps not unexpectedly – more fliers logging complaints.

The results were the worst since 2009, according to the latest airline quality rating report from Brent Bowen, dean of the College of Aviation at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Prescott Arizona campus and Dean Headley, associate professor of marketing at Wichita State University.
