Air pollution linked to increasing Cases of ADHD in Children

A new study has found that children who are exposed to the highest levels of air pollution before birth have higher chances of having Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). According to the study, less exposed children have very few risk of one of the most common mental disorders.

Researchers came to the conclusion after looking at levels of compounds known as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), which are element of air pollution.
