After Tracy Morgan crash, Booker calls for feds to review truck safety

WASHINGTON D.C. — A commercial truck's weight and driver fatigue requirements should be reviewed by the federal Department of Transportation, U.S. Sen. Cory Booker said Wednesday.

In the wake of a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike on Saturday that killed comic James (Jimmy Mack) McNair of N.Y. and injured actor/comedian Tracy Morgan, Booker (D-NJ) addressed the U.S. Senate Wednesday, asking whether the accident could have been prevented through regulations.
