As much as $ 500 billion per year is required by 2050 to help developing countries to adapt with climate change, according to United Nations (UN) report. Which was estimated as little as $100 billion per year by the UN`s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
This the first ever Adaptation Gap report released by the agency on Friday. To the expert this is a significant amount increase which will cost the developing nations deeply. The $500 billion forecast could rise further if no necessary action is taken immediately.
