89-year-old Gary church turns into ruin gardens

When they learned much of the sanctuary roof caved in, local photographers rushed to the majestic ruins of the City Methodist Church, a long-abandoned downtown cathedral that skilled craftsmen carved out of Bedford limestone to glorify God in a hardscrabble mill town nearly a century ago.
