Britain's Prince Charles looks at an original Magna Carta manuscript during a visit to the British Library on March 12. The document, which has served as the foundation of the modern judicial system, was issued in 1215 by King John, who was under pressure from English barons. The exhibition marks the 800th anniversary of the document.
The British Library is now showing original manuscripts of the U.S. Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights, the first time they've come to the United Kingdom.
