Rarely do artists dead for nearly 50 years manage to continue to influence the music industry today. Sam Cooke, Eddie Cochran, Cole Porter, and so many more formidable musicians who died in the 1960's still sell music today, but few come close to the voracity of John Coltrane's music-selling ability.
