Sunday night’s midseason premiere of The Walking Dead was one of the strangest and trippiest episodes in the show’s five-season run, abandoning proper chronology — hey, notice all the broken clocks? That’s a metaphor, bro! — to dramatize the zombie-bit death of the ever-lovable Tyreese, whom many of us will always call “Cutty” no matter what The Walking Dead says his name was supposed to be.

So, yeah: Cutty died. Bit by Chris from Everybody Hates Chris‘ zombie kid brother because he was a bit too warm and soft in the cold, hard post-apocalyptic world. That’s the main thing that happened, and the show’s producers actually made it pretty sad and heartfelt — in stark contrast to the deaths...
