$400,000 donated by NOAA for Penobscot River Project

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, which recently partnered with Google to map the underwater sea beds of Florida, is at it again. These federal organization is showing that they truly support nature as they donate a whopping $400,000 dollars to a conservation project in Penobscot River.

The federal government chose this river location as their “habitat focus area” back in May. The river is unique in that it has the largest Atlantic salmon route all over America.
