4 More Substances Are Now Classified As Carcinogens

Move over, couch foam; four more substances were just added to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' list of carcinogens.

The new report, released yesterday, lists the four latest substances linked to the development of cancer as 1-bromopropane, cumene, ortho-toluidine, and pentachlorophenol. All of these are now either known or anticipated to be human carcinogens.
